Character
Character Name: Terezi Pyrope
Series: Homestuck
Gender: Female
Age & Canon Point: 14 + after Aranea conversation.
Requested Sponsor: Lapis Lazuli
Entry position (Cadet, SeeD, Instructor, other): Cadet.
History: http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Terezi_Pyrope

Abilities & Physical Abnormalities:

Abilities: Terezi does not rely on sight, but rather on her other senses -- mainly taste, smell, and hearing. She was taught to do so by her lusus (a guardian assigned to a troll) when she became blind on account of someone else's desperate actions. Due to this, she views the world in terms of those senses (scent, sound, and taste) and the image presented to her is not perfect, but she is more than fine with it. Also, her sense of taste is stronger than her sense of smell due to the fact that whenever she licks something it allows her to better "see" the objects usually blurred in her vision.

Her Fetch Modus (her way of placing things in hammerspace) is Scratch and Sniff (which she utilizes by identifying items through smell) and her specibus (weapon) is canekind (Cane). Having beaten the denizen (similar to a final boss) from her world, she has a high skill in physical combat, likely needed when she faced the Black King with her friends (and they subsequently took him down).

As a Seer of Mind, she can foresee the possibilities that can occur from taking certain actions.

Terezi's abornomal appearance qualities are having an unnatural grey skin tone, with eyes as red as a ruby stone, and on her head are two cone-shaped candy-cane colored horns. Her teeth are also razer sharp.

Personality:

Warning: For those who have not read Homestuck and are quite interested in doing so, spoilers are contained within these paragraphs.

What must be first and utmost addressed is Terezi's sense of justice, or morals per se, retained even after being brought up in a society where there is virtually/technically none of the sort. As one who entertains the idea of becoming a legislacerator (or rather, did) she has the mindset that all who are guilty should be punished and the innocent, of course, kept out of harm. However, despite this, she isn't the type to "see" in only black and white. Well, most of the time.

However, it should be known that the kind of justice she’s used to isn’t the conventional kind. Troll justice is often a twisted brand of the thing, as those considered criminals can be, for example, lowbloods who retaliate against higherbloods in self-defense. There is also the simple fact that highbloods can kill lowbloods on a whim and not get in trouble with the law, because that is what is considered just and right (as well as normal) in Alternian society. Justice exists to persecute lowbloods and those who rebel against the empire. That is why you could refer it to Draconian Justice rather than real justice.

She enjoys imagining herself as one who delivers punishment to the bad guys and has made a hobby out of "orchestrating the demise of the wicked" via her expertise with mind tricks, especially if it happens to be a great mastermind. Her talent of manipulation shines so brightly that she doesn’t even need the assistance of mind control powers to be successful, in contrast to her former partner, Vriska. She is able to pick up on things about people that many don't notice, or rather the things that bother them in particular due to her observational attributes. She has no qualms exploiting any sort of emotional weakness in order to pursue her agenda in the name of justice.

Her interest in the realm of serving justice also spurs her to act on it and take matters into her own hands when she sees fit.

She also happens to entertain her fantasy of subsequently giving the suspected criminal a guilty (or rarely, innocent) verdict by roleplaying a faux courtroom case with her scaly stuffed toys.

On the other side of the spectrum, Terezi is seen with a grin most of the time, implying she is in high spirits at almost any given time and absolutely enjoys messing with people in almost every sense of the word. She is, after all, a very fond individual who likes to tease constantly in everyday conversation with her friends.

On Alternia, blood color is important, with red as the lowest-ranked and purple as the highest, and due to her blood color, she ranks higher than most of the people she associates with. She doesn't care all that much about it though, as she has actually made a habit of forming friendships with those who have red blood and the like. Hell, she even likes it the most, calling it the most "delicious color".

Terezi does not believe in luck/fortune all that much, and does not seem to hold much stock in predestined scenarios, as indicated by her willingness to screw around with the timeline with Dave in an attempt to make something that was not supposed to happen, happen. She also shows this disregard for luck when she rehearses a particular fake trial in which she says she bets a verdict on the toss. When it lands in the plushie Senator's favor, however, she says she does not see the coin, because once again she reminds us the "prosecutor is blind" (literally) before lynching the toy.

Terezi's relationship with Vriska is complicated; she tends to outwardly show disdain towards her after what Vriska pulled back on Alternia (see: Aradia's death and Tavros' paralytic state) most of the time. However, despite all of this, it isn't as if Terezi can completely forget how close they once were--after all, they were together as a team called the "Scourge Sisters". In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to say she would wish for such a thing to be again, if it weren't for what Vriska did. If she were forced into a position where she would need to kill Vriska, which she was in recent events, she wouldn't exactly do it because she wanted to.

In fact, she feels guilty and frustrated about it, especially when asks Aranea if she was only capable of "stabbing her or losing the nerve to do it". She has indicated she misses Vriska, despite everything that the other troll has managed to put herself and her friends through, and even asks,

1S 1T W31RD TO M1SS SOM3BODY WHO D1D NOTH1NG BUT C4US3 PROBL3MS?

Even if Terezi was angry and forced to do what she has done, it shows that she still cares and that if she knew she could have done it all differently, while keeping her other friends alive and Vriska as well, she would have.

What are your plans for the character in-game?

To be honest, I plan it as I go along. I haven't made anything "pre-set" or anything, besides to possibly make Terezi grow and explore new ventures of anything possible here.

Anything else?

>:O

IC

Complete TWO out of the FOUR options.

i) IC Questionnaire

What do you prefer to be known as?

An agent of justice!

How old are you?

About six sweeps and a half I guess?

Do you have any history in combat?

Yes, I do! All evil-doers who have come to face me have paid the price.

If so, have you ever killed?

Yes.

i) How do you feel when you get involved in some project that calls for immediate and rapid activity?

Invigorated!

ii) Do you organize and initiate leisure activities?

Sometimes. If doodling with someone and messing around counts!

iii) What role do you take when working in a group?

The role of a leader, if someone doesn't wet their pants like a little grub crying over it!

iv) How talkative are you around other people?

It depends on who I'm with, but mostly very talkative! I could make your ear fall off if I wanted to, hehehe!

v) What three things would you want to have with you on a desert island? State your reasoning.

Hmm.

Fruit, Water, and something red.

The first two should be pretty obvious! You can't expect to survive without food or something to drink on a desert island, that would be just dumb. Also, having one leisure item isn't too bad.

vi) Is it important to be liked by a wide range of people?

You could be manipulated for thinking that it is-- so, no, not really.

vii) When the odds are against you, is it worth taking a chance?

I'd rather not take chances.

...If there's no other way to fight against those odds, I guess it is.

viii) Do you consider yourself to be an impulsive person?

Not really.

ix) Would you agree that planning things ahead takes the fun out of life?

It can, but I'm going to disagree because some fun things do need some actual pre-planning.

x) Do you like surprises?

Sometimes!

xi) Do you sometimes wonder if there is something wrong with you?

This is a dumb question.

xii) Do you consider yourself to be smarter than your superiors, and disagree with their decisions?

Seeing as I have no superiors at this moment, I don't see how I can disagree with their non-existent decisions.

xiii) Lastly, how do you feel about cabbages?

They don't taste so great?
